Dita Von Teese for Wonderbra

Ms. Von Teese is rolling out her second collection for Wonderbra. She has compiled a selection of highly glamorous and seductive vintage inspired lingerie, supported by breath-taking photographs. If there is anything this woman knows besides putting on a good show its great underwear. Many of the pieces re-call the high femininity of the 40s and 50s available in sumptuous jewel colours (I have my eye on that waspie). Moreover, she knows her market as the collection is only available in Europe. Dita, I personally salute you.

Moment of the Week- George @ ASDA

A few weeks after a new store opening I decided to visit my local ASDA, it was here I re-discovered the cheap cheerfulness of George @ ASDA. But it wasn't quite how I remembered it, not with trend inspired pieces, an Asian ladies collection and in-between sized jeans. I was most impressed with the tops. This inspirational supermarket brand is proof that no matter the budget there is no excuse to look bad. None of these items costs over 10 pounds. Click on an item to view or purchase.

Dress up to Dress Down

As somewhat of a tomboy I am constantly clashing highly feminine garments with quite masculine references. My thing is not being too obvious i.e. boyfriend shirts, boy fit jeans, bow tie and bowler hat or brogues. Get my drift?

This look combines comfort and femininity, a little bit grunge and very me. (The sweater is to be layered underneath the dress and I would probably throw on some leather boots). I distinguish feminine as visually appealing and masculine as desired comfort. Click on an item to view or purchase. How would you wear it?

Victoria Beckam, 4/10

On left is a preview of the next season of Victoria Beckhams' uptown fashion line. Even though I do think she is far more adept at style than music, the prices are crazy ridiculously for somebody who is not an actual designer. However, it is the 21st century and designer brand is just as accepting a major fashion house. The dresses are immaculately cut but they are priced equally to that of a second hand fiat punto. So the choice is one dress, or four dresses. Click on an image to view or purchase.

Last of the Summer Weddings

The clouds are beginning to roll in and autumn leaves are about to begin drains, all of this is just as inescapable as late summer wedding invites (venues drop their prices between 40 and 70%). So how do you rock your individual style at a wedding without causing a fuss? Keep it chic and appropriate. This look here balances simplicity, decency whilst remaining quirky, loud and edgy. It always pays to be yourself. Moreover this look is also dance floor friendly...
