Dress Your Curves

The number one rule I give to anyone dressing is most important for petite women or women with curves. Know your proportions! A good sized bust and rounded hips are just as easy to dress as a tall boyish figure if you are fully aware of your proportions. Measure your self as some stores can differ with their dimensions by at least 3 and a half inches! Or a whole dress size.

1.Define shoulders, waist and ankles (yes ankles)

Emphasising the silhouette at smaller areas create a shape which is visually slimmer (without stepping foot in a gym). It also evens out your proportions

2.Tailor

Have garments that fit you well, there is no point buying a garment that is half a size too big, more material adds more mass to the frame. Try and have awkward fitting garment altered, seamstresses or family friends are a small price to pay.

3.Colour and Shape

Buy colours that work for you regardless of how a garment fit, no matter how much you love that colour. Buy shapes that do not work against your figure. Why buy straight leg jeans when your wonderful bottom would love a killer bootleg.
