Uh oh...Summer is nearly over!

That's our five minutes over and done with. Lets start looking towards our A/W 09 wardrobes, because if the forecast is right its going to be wet and brutal. The best trick for dressing appropriately in weather such as this is layering. The rule of thumb for winter layering is that the outside layers should be the thickest. It solves that outside cold, inside hot conundrum when you're out and about.

This look is practical, quirky and a little bit New York. Bonus points for being able to wear that smoking dress for after work tipples. (A supper flattering colour for most skin tones too). Team with shoe boots or knee to thigh length velvet boots in a clashing jewel tone- Magenta, Mulberry....Mustard?! Personalise this look with your own shoe and accessory choices.
